Brandon Nordhues

Brandon Nordhues is in his eighth season with SJBC, having served as Associate Artistic Director, Interim Artistic Director, and Assistant Conductor. In his current position he serves as conductor of the Training Choir and works in an assistantship role with the other ensembles. Mr. Nordhues graduated in 2009 from Saint John’s University with a degree in Vocal Music Education and Vocal Performance where he studied voice and conducting with Dr. Axel Theimer. He currently lives in Sartell and is one of two choir directors for the Sartell high school music department. Mr. Nordhues also enjoys acting, music directing, and accompanying local musical productions for GREAT Theatre, Curtain Call Community Theater, and Sartell High School. He is currently a graduate student in Choral Music Education at the University of St. Thomas where he studies with Dr. Angela Broeker.
