Our Training Choir kicks off February 7, 2026!

What is Training Choir? 

SJBC’s Training Choir is your beginning choir that welcomes in new singers. This choir will prepare singers with the necessary skills to progress into our other choirs as they get older and gain more experience!

Who can join?

Students in grades 3-5 are welcome to join us! (Read our statement on inclusivity and gender here)

When are rehearsals?

Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6-7:30pm.

Where are rehearsals?

Saint John’s University in the music building (Stephen B. Humphrey Auditorium)

What is the cost?

The actual cost per choirboy is $625; the minimum Parent Pledge is $310. Scholarships are available, and no boy is ever turned away due to finances

When does it start?

We kick off the spring Training Choir February 7th from 9am-4pm at Saint John’s University.
